Ibiza Considers Nightclub License Freeze to Manage Overtourism

Ibiza's vibrant club scene, a cornerstone of its cultural identity, may soon face significant regulatory changes. Local officials are currently evaluating a proposal to halt the issuance of new nightclub licenses across the island. Championed by Consell d'Eivissa Vice President Mariano Juan, this initiative is part of a broader strategy aimed at addressing overtourism through the Tourism Areas Intervention Plan.
