UNTOLD Festival 2026: A Record-Breaking Finale in Cluj-Napoca

The UNTOLD Festival concluded its spectacular 2026 edition in Cluj-Napoca, reporting an impressive turnout of over 500,000 attendees over four vibrant days. The closing day alone witnessed a staggering crowd of more than 120,000 fans, highlighting the festival’s significant draw in the electronic dance music scene. Held annually, UNTOLD continues to cement its reputation as one of Europe’s premier festivals, thanks to its eclectic lineup and immersive atmosphere.

The final night’s performances treated festival-goers to an exciting lineup that showcased a wide variety of musical styles. Romanian hip-hop artist Grasu XXL kicked off the festivities, setting the stage for a memorable night. Following him, rapper Flo Rida energized the audience with a selection of his chart-topping hits. The night continued to build with Alan Walker’s visually captivating production, transitioning into a dynamic live set from Italian trio MEDUZA, setting the tone for an unforgettable close.

As the energy peaked, fans were thrilled by the collaborative set of Afrojack and R3HAB, whose infectious beats reverberated throughout the Mainstage. Steve Aoki brought his signature chaotic energy to the crowd, proving once again why he is a festival favorite. The festivities were rounded out with a performance from Portuguese artist Padre Guilherme, who delivered a more uplifting set to help transition festival-goers from an exhilarating experience into reflective goodbyes.

The 2026 edition of UNTOLD was marked not only by strong performances from artists primarily known within the dance music realm, but it also featured a diverse range of other genres. The festival saw the likes of Sting, who celebrated the ten-year anniversary of the Chainsmokers’ ‘Closer’ with a nostalgic sing-along. Additionally, Lost Frequencies surprised attendees with a special appearance from Loredana Groza during his set, offering a remix of her hit track ‘Lele’. The weekend also featured performances from Martin Garrix, Zara Larsson, and Lewis Capaldi, alongside Andy C’s drum & bass-heavy finale on the Alchemy stage.

Looking ahead, the UNTOLD team is already gearing up for next year, announcing the 2027 Star Edition slated for August 5-8. An enticing sign of demand, the first batch of 30,000 festival passes sold out within just 24 hours of going on sale.
